Didnt they make this same film like 5 or 6 years ago?

Another exercise in how to waste money on repeat.

    Not really.

Only the Spiderman character is common. This is a new story.

I guess we will see how much of a waste it is in the box office.

The story that needed to be told... Ah, I guess.

What's one more roller coaster in the theme park. I'm sure it'll be an awesome ride and rake in the cash.

Seems like Twilight meets Spider-Man... Footage looks good, though! Will definitely go and see at the cinema!

DP 'The' Peter Lyons Collister ASC helped shoot it, one of the nicest most talented dudes I have met. Sneak peak screened worldwide, tickets went so fast if that is any indication.

Im sure it will do well.

pop corn block busters seldom fail even if they are bad... They dominate nearly every cinema chain.
    Good luck to it regardless.

I have a lot of faith in Marc Webb, although this is only his 2nd feature. His first was 500 Days of Summer. He has really shown he is talented director on countless music videos over the years.

The trailer looks terrific. I don't doubt this will make a ton of money (and Sony needs it right now).

John Schwartzman is a first-class DP, and everything I've seen on the film so far looks stellar.

    Wow.
I was so, like, not even interested in this movie, having ploughed through the Raimi versions, but this trailer really does look like an interesting take on the story, and the SFX look way superior to the last round. Count me in.
