Just wanted to share a quick solution in hopes it can keep it happening to you while you are filming.

While shooting via power adaptor, I accidentally kicked the power adaptor and it barely came lose; which abruptly turned off my Scarlet, so I wired up the adaptor to keep it from even coming lose a bit. A little wire wrapped around the top and bottom to keep it secure.

I usually tape it up with a strip of 1" white camera tape for the same reason!

I too have pulled the cord out of the adapter with my feet -The AC power adapter and cable is the only badly designed component for the Epic.. I would like to see the adapter farther down the power cord so there is no bulky brick shaped object near my feet. If im on sticks, I gaff it to one of the legs, but there must be a cleaner option. But the contrary is that its sort of a breakaway to protect the camera if someone trips over it..
