    Hello All,

Perhaps one of these could be adapted to the Red EVF for those who desire to keep their head at a consistent distance from their hands when operating a gear head.

If the coverage is not enough it might be corrected with a simple negative focal length element. Then again mayby not.

Why not just simply extend the mount that the viewfinder is attached to further to the rear? No other difference between operating from a fluid head vs a geared head than your eyeball has to be further to the rear (and I'd rather operate from a fluid head from the same place anyway).

In some previous thread I suggested that rather than adopt the traditional film-style leveling rod system, it might be time for a system that attaches entirely to the head and simply attaches to the camera via cable, which will allow for greater tilts than the old-style system.

Given that it's an electronic view finder, you could strap it to your face for all Red are bothered, as long as the wire reaches the camera it doesn't matter, at least that's how I've always envisaged it. They've always said you can mount it anywhere. If it was an optical view finder that'd make a difference perhaps.
