    Hi Shane,

That's what I thought at first, but then when I posted my problem I had lots of replies saying "Me too".
There was also a useful response advising the Red technical people what the problem was.

So I think it is fairly common. But as with many faults (such as the RedMote) not everyone is affected.

I even bought one of those styli, which helps a bit, but it still isn't good enough.

I'm glad yours is working well though.

    Regards,
    Antony

So much for the (obviously incorrect rumour) that RED was still waiting for Federal approval for its new radio wave.

Looks like another mass send back of gear to the US ( expensive GRRRRR... ) to get it all working properly... Just when I thought it was going to be a simple firmware upgrade.

This girl friend is starting to annoy me.

Ill be glad when its all 100% running perfect. I do like my REDMOTES Alot, I cant wait to like them even more.

We have received 2 redmotes. One shipped with an "enter" button that is stuck & non responsive, the other seems to be working pretty well. I have taken it at least 25 feet away from our paired epic without any problems. Our touch screens on the other hand (in all climates) seem to frequently freeze up and require a reboot of the camera to become operational once again.

Having the problem with my touch screen, already sent a log file to RED.

Hey Brian, do you have any modules covering the redmote mount on the butt?

pretty sure that the receiver is on top of the camera.

I have nothing on the top of mine other than the 5" touchscreen, so maybe that's why my Redmote is working so well.
One camera is a shoot... two or more is a production.

I have paired our current working redmote with both of our epic Xes. Both have x Quick Back plates + IDX batteries on the back.
