While I get over the shock that my Leica R4S with motor winder sold for only $90 including shipping, I can console myself with the 50mm/f.2 Leica lens that I kept.

I purchased a Leica R to EOS adapter (http://www.adorama.com/CZLCEOS.html) and, like others, find that it fits rather loosely on the lens. What's not obvious is how to firm it up. I was thinking a bit of electrical tape neatly applied between the lens and adapter. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Yeah, Leitax is very solid. And there's this site where you can find out more about it: pebbleplace.com

Fhotodiox are very good, no movement at all.

Leitx is your best bet if you want a fixed / semi-permanent mount. If you want a quickly removable adapter, then, from least expensive to most expensive: Fotodiox (get the Pro grade), Cameraquest (same as Kindai), and Novoflex.
