Fully agree with Jeff that the Optimo DP Rouge zooms are fantastic on the Epic. Very even field illumination, great micro-contrast, buttery mechanics and an extended throat for the exit pupil that provides better tele-centricity which is a nice match for a digital sensor with a filter in front (Epic, Alexa).
If budget is tight, I just saw Michael Zalatel is selling his 18-85 RED RPZ for $4,950 in "mint" condition. While the lens is large and fairly heavy with a little vignetting on the wide end, it has good coatings, good contrast and is designed for single plane sensors. While you might be able to get a stills zoom for less, there are no other cine zooms I know of that are even in the ballpark in terms of price.
