I think Rivai means Allstar RED Dovetail :

It's pretty easy to hand screw a couple of half inch allen head screws in the Red dovetail as a safety, not elegant but it works.

I too am a bit disappointed no one has come out with a longer and more robust dovetail that fits the Red DMSC bridgeplate system which I bought into and now can see it's pros and cons. (Pros: light, robust cons: non standard in part.) A chief con is it's not Arri or any standard but its own, and Red and the long dovetail isn't long enough. I'm guessing it's strong enough. But we need 12 and 18 inches from Red or somebody.

The RED DSMC DOVETAIL QUICK RELEASE does work with the Allstar dovetail...

EDIT: I guess I should have mentioned that I'm taking about the original.

    Hey Rivai,

Just wanted to let you know that ActionProducts also has a locking dovetail that's available in 2 lengths, 30 cm (11.8 in) and 16.5 cm (6.5 in) that will work with most bridge and base plates!

    ActionProducts Arri Dovetail (shorter)
    ActionProducts Arri Dovetail (longer)

If anyone wants to send in their non-safety dovetail, we'll put the safety taps in. Like Rod Bradley said, ifs not elegant but it works.
