Anybody use the Sola 4 or 6? Good investment for someone who does TV commercials? Thanks

Ive worked with the Sola 6 nice quality of light that you can shape and love that its heat free.
I like that the Sola 4 can be battery powered so you can place them anywhere without tripping over wires. Also the weight on the Sola 4 is pretty amazingly light

Make sure you are happy with the build quality before purchasing these. A bit plastic for my taste and for what they charge

I don't care how good their lights are, I will NOT support a company that uses lawsuits to squash their competition.

The Arri's put out twice as much light at higher CRI and are upgrade-able via firmware. Way better value. Beside litepanels are expensive crap builds. Creamware is much better

Have used both the Sola 6 and L7C. Although a handy light, the Sola seemed real flimsy. Still very functional with some basic controls, but overall seemed plastic and cheap.
The L7C overall is fantastic for a LED source. I would love to have 4 of them.. Lots of color controls and cuts like a knife.
Although I haven't used Creamsource, I was impressed with their products at NAB.
I'm most excited about the Zylight fresnel. It's not bicolor but am not worried about that as much as I used to be.
At $2k (hopefully) it fits a gap for low voltage focusable daylight sources.
