Does the RED PRO ZOOM 17-50mm vignette or not in full frame 5K? There have been numerous posts about this, but the answers seem to differ. I recently tried one of these zooms out at reduser Janne Janssons place in Uppsala. His vignette problems clearly was due to the old telescopic front. In a post from November last year reduser Andre Huse posted some worrying pics of the zoom vignetting at 17mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 50mm. But it wasn't stated if the zoom in question was the old version with the long front or if it was the new version with the much shorter front:

The RPZ 17-50mm is really popular at all the big rental houses in Stockholm. It is the lightes PL-zoom in this range and is used with multiple different camera brands. I am thinking buying one and as I remember RED has stated that it does not display any vignette at full 5K.
What is the current situation? Please chime in.

PS: As I understand RED it has an upgrade program for the old RPZ, which means that the old front is replace by the new one.
