I was the first to bring the Red One to Vietnam Feb 2008 and we shot our first film in March 2008. Might have been my RED you saw. =)

Small world! yes, she was the line producer for the feature we shot between March-April, so you might have dropped by the set. I was camera operating for that film so we likely crossed paths that day too.
After the film, she hired us for a few commercials. She is now living in Paris.

It was very late at night in a small alley on Pham Ngu Lao... Now Red is everywhere in Vietnam.

I mainly worked on screening matters in Vietnam so i wasn't that close to the production side. I had the chance to work with great people like Nguyen Vinh Son though, and follow his work on Trang noi day gieng (shot on 35mm). I hope his next movie will be shot on Red, at least he wanted to go lighter way and i think Epic or scarlets are the way to go...
