So does anyone have a stylus suggestion that they really like? Looking on amazon there are a million options, but they all seem to say in some reviews that the tip wears out quickly or breaks off, etc. So I am just looking for a durable, affordable stylus that I can use with the touchscreen.

Read about this option on Reduser a while back. I like it because it's got a clip, the tip is not a sharp point, and it's RED.
Still waiting for it to arrive, but it seems like it's going to work fine.

Good to know, thanks. At least I'll only be out a few bucks if it doesn't work. Any risk in using a stylus designed for capacitive, or will it just not function?

edit: According to other posters in this thread, the RED Touch LCD is capacitive and the original stylus I posted is a valid option.

Looks like I got the wrong stylus :-/ So, back to the original question...

In the same boat, just got the touchscreen and am putting fingerprints all over it.

What about this stylus: The size would be nice.

a bit of quick research suggests that resistive touch screens work by pressure alone... so just about anything that will not actually scratch the screen will work. There is an example on the web of a home made stylus using a standard mechanical pencil with a wacom plastic pen nib instead of graphite... sounds simple enough... and worth a try if you have a wacom stylus to test you could try that... when I have a screen I will test this.

Am i wrong, or does the stylus from Nintendo DS would work ? If i'm right Nintendo also use resistive screens.
It's quite small, easy to stick it somewhere on the camera body.
