It's late - I missed the £280.00 from my math.
And pretty much screwed the rest of the sum..
Total UK should be £8,125.00
I think you guys get the picture now.
8125 GBR - is 12750 USD plus indeed 20% of VAT so whole the sum is 15000 USD!
For example if I have 10500 for Stage 3 and I am getting Epic from USA I can give 10500 and getting Epic (shipping and carry and texex is my problem, it is possible to be in USA often or a lot of friends in USA it is suitible) but if I have this 10500 and getting Epic from UK I will be told it is not enough I need to pay else 5000 (about 3 to RED UK and about 2 as VAT)!
The metter is not in avidity but for some people 5000 is a huge sum and somebody just has not these extra 5000!
May be it would be more fairly to give to the people the choise ot get Epic from UK or from USA to USA adress?
Well, what do you want to do? Smuggle?
It's not RED charging you extra, it's all taxes and duties (and the dollar getting stronger)! BTW it's strange that RED needs to pay some duties (those 280 GBP) for re-importing into the US…
You can make your purchase in the USA if you wish - we do not 'force' customers to use either of our offices.
When you purchase in the USA, depending upon the invoice address, you will also be subject to certain taxes.
When you import the goods to your own country, you will be subject to import duty and VAT - unless you choose not to declare the goods....
We've done 6 Epic stage 2 through Red UK and believe me we looked thoroughly at the numbers considering the money involved. There is no need to get on Alan's back as Red UK is very straight about this, they are working to your advantage as the amount of customs you pay through them is much lower than if you were getting it from the US. And on top of that you don't pay the VAT at all when you're an EU company (as opposed to paying it when it comes from the US and getting reimbursed month after).

Don't try to outsmart Red on the international imports and all, they're already the smart guys don't you know ;)
Same here, I 'm convinced RED has arranged the best possible solution for us here in Europe – it must have taken them quite some effort. Remember, this kind of trade in is something unheard of – unheard by custom officers too…
I don't complain. Alan and RED Uk are doing a good job. I just did not get the match...
