What are you downloading rushes from SSDs on to? For CF cards I've been using the NextoDi. Any similar portable hard rives with SSD slots? Thanks

Haven't tested this out yet, but intentions are to download to the HDD on a laptop (only one eSATA port) and then offload from the laptop back through that eSATA port onto a 2.5 in. HDD in an off-the-shelf dock.
One camera is a shoot... two or more is a production.

The New V series Nextos can copy off RedMags no problem. Red Station needs to be plugged in. Much cheaper/lighter and just works. You can buy two Nextos and copy to both (not ata once) or you can mirror the nexto to any USB2/Sata/Firewire 800 drive while you keep shooting. You do need power, but nothing a camping battery can't give you. Great for when you are literally in the field.
