    The DHL man has just left ... and took with him my beloved RED ONE #937.

    I had 4 great years with this wonderful camera, but time has come to move on to EPIC X.
    (I had postponed the packing for days now, but finally I´ve overcome my reluctance to let it go. I wonder whether anyone else had the same feelings to part with this camera).

    Just out of curiosity. Are the returned RED Ones being consigned to the crusher Sony Betacam style or are they being re-issued to buyers after a check and service ?

    I hope you will have the same good experiece with th Epic X as you had with the Red one. When the new Camera arrives just bell me.

    Wenn etwas nicht klappt, probier einfach was anderes, vielleicht klappt das ja auch nicht.

    ... and 2 days ago the FEDEX man brought my new camera: and all I can say is WOW!!!

    And thank you JJ for your vision (and money :) and all people at RED for their determination and their outstanding customer service!

    Yes the R1 was and still is a great camera, really!!

    However once you'll get your EPIC... Well, let me say that there will be no tears or any remembering of the R1 after that... ;)
