It was great to receive my OLPF Port Bushing kit yesterday afternoon. I'm extremely happy to finally have this flare guard in place.

What's more ... I thought it was pretty amazing that Red is shipping these free kits out to us FedEx Overnight, at their cost.

As it turns out, I could have waited a few more days ... but to some owners the FedEx Overnight shipping could possibly save the day.

So ... Cheers ... and thank you, Red.

Agreed. I've noticed a big difference on two camera shoots where my Epic has the bushing and the other Epic doesn't. If you have an Epic and haven't emailed Red for the bushing, I highly recommend it. Thanks again, Red, for dealing with this issue.

    Are they rationing these ?
I ordered them for my pair of Scarlets, only got one today.
I asked if they can install one into the Scarlet that is in service now with a sensor issue, but they said it's a different dept.

I have been told that they are on backorder so not possible to get it preinstalled in my Epic X before it ships.

I believe the permanent solution is installed in all the new camera's that are now shipping. The backorder one is the user installable version to those who already have the camera's.
It should be preinstalled in yours.

Hi Matt. That is not the case. I was specifically told that my stage 3 epic X would not have it preinstalled as the port bushing was on backorder. I am not concerned about it as I understand that it is pretty easy to install.

I have to remove the "red tape" and the little sensor guard before installing this right? Will that void my warranty, or is it okay for the olpf install?
