    I just discovered something rather strange. See for yourself.
    Shooting EPIC build 2.0.8
    Newest Version of REDCINE-X PRO
    RR Driver 1.4.19.0

    Exported Tiff using the CPU and took screen capture viewing it @ 100%



    Exported Tiff using the RED ROCKET and took screen capture viewing it @ 100%

    If you like, you can apply a blur on the Red Rocket version to make it look just like the software version !
    But blurs are considered in poor form by most.
    I am hoping that the new RCX version will kindly include the Red Rocket style process implemented to give the user the choice to match everything up in a mixed processing situation.

    Thanks Les,

    The only reason I noticed this was working with stills where I def prefer the Software Render. With motion you probably won't notice the odd crosshatched sharpness but I don't have a 4k monitor to try it out.
