Can you send the R3d's to Apple Color? Do you use after effects.. I don't have resolve and wont be getting it. I want to have some clips I shot just keep one actor in color while the others are in B&W. Suggestions? I know in color I could do this with the 2nd room and the picker.

Have you looked into redgiants magic bullets looks? I know it's not professional like resolve... But I've gotten some nice looking images for 1080

This is the fastest method I've found, MB Colorista 2.

+1 We use that + some home-brew AE filters. Resolve is MUCH faster than Colorista if you add a control surface.

Oh my gosh, yes. Colorista is powerful, but clunky to navigate. One click tracking and stabilizing in Resolve saves a ton of time, and it's pretty darn fast to render as well.

Popular tools today: Resolve, Scratch, Baselight, Magic Bullet Looks, After Effects, Colorista.

However all of the above only shows more of why the future release of Adobe Speedgrade is going to be so important to the Adobe Production Premium workflow and working with native R3D material.
