We like it because you can change the cables out. +1

We are contemplating purchasing another one so we don't have to do it back and forth from 6" to 12"

Decided to pull the trigger again, and purchase another one. Dissembling is easy and quick but pain in the arse. This one with 12" cable.

It was really worth to wait for this sleek and practical design.

    Michael, Could you tell please?

    1. If buying your Scarlet V-mount Standard wt D-plate® Ver. 2.0 or V-Mount Pro wt D-Plate® Ver.2.0 or Anton Bauer Pro wt D-Plate® Ver.2 is it everything that is need to fix plate to Epic/Scarlet or need some additional accessories? Some plate or something else? Can I buy Scarlet V-mount Standard wt D-plate® Ver. 2.0 and just fix it and it is ready to shoot?

    2. What is the difference between Scarlet V-mount Standard wt D-plate® Ver. 2.0 and Scarlet V-mount Standard wt D-plate® Ver. 2.0?

    3. Is percentage or voltage is would be shown at Red monitor?

    4. Why the V mount plate is longer then AB mount plate? AB plate shorter and seems more cool designed because battery doesn't overhang so much as V-mount plate?

    5. Why your plate named Scarlet plate and not Scarlet/Epic plate?

    Thank you

I think most of your questions can be found on their website or you may want to e-mail them, Alexey.

I know that my MG1 Anton Bauer plate shows voltage like most do - I don't know about their V-mount.

Sorry guys, but I am so tired of choosing battery solution....:))

I want to power my external monitor as well... Does this Anton Bauer plate allows that? http://www.mg1concepts.com/scarlet.html
Does it have power tap? :)

    many thanks!

You will like that MG1 plate. I have the same for my Epic. The only caveat is you have to take out the plate (IF using Hytron 140s) to change cards. No big deal bcuz you don't lose power as you are sliding off the whole plate without dismounting the battery. Overall, very easy to work with plate and constructed very solidly!
