Amazon is a great place for the mini USB cable. I have tons laying around, including the one that was included with the REDMOTE.

I use the Remote Audio Distribution system which now includes a USB port. The Viewfactor device seems REALLY great though.

Amazon as Thomas points out. Also monoprice.com has them. NewEgg probably does as well...

I bought a couple of these targus batteries: http://www.targus.com/US/productdeta...=7&sku=APB27US
    they work awesome.

I have been testing them. It comes with a USB-Micro USB with a micro - mini adapter. This is perfect because the REDMote requires a mini-USB and the Targus charges via micro. The Targus uses the same cable to charge itself as it does to charge the other devices! Very efficient.

I started with both REDMotes fully charged and turned them on. I plugged a battery into one (REDMote A) and left the other disconnected (REDMote B).
A lasted all day, beyond ten hours and eventually died sometime in the night. It had gone 5 hours and the Targus battery was not down even one bar (of four). B drained to the last 25% of its life in 4 hours, at which point I plugged in the Targus battery. The REDMote didnt just stay at 25%, it actually charged, and had a full charge in about 2.5 hours. Much faster than charging it via laptop. It also lasted well into the night.

I drained both REDMotes overnight and charged the Targus batteries.
I plugged A into the laptop I am using and the battery light on the REDMote started to blink, so it started its charge. It was unusable for about 2+ hours until it automatically turned on with enough life. I plugged B into the Targus and it immediately turned on. In less than 3 hours it is near fully charged.

The benefit to the Targus batteries for charging is the immediate ability to turn on and use the REDMote, whereas using the computer to charge doesnt seem efficient at all. I highly recommend having these or another similar battery in the Epic kits.
