Presets - > alternate_keys(FACTORY) ... did I just miss this in previous builds, or is this new to 3.0.0...because I really like the less fumble worrisome alternate default keymap for user buttons A-D on the side handle :)

Yup, was in 2.0.8 at least. It's what I've been using :)

the new R3's looks really good! plus playing long clips even at 1/4 res on a quad mac tower works so much better! this version is a big jump from 10.

wow this is interesting...I'm finally seeing some microtonal separation on skin tones with red color 3...going over old footage of closeups on faces and doing side by sides against red color 1/2/3 and 3 is showing stronger microtone separation exactly that one thing i was hoping for which alexa does better than Red..just preliminary results at first but I'm liking what I'm seeing

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

My poor old 2007 MBP can't handle resolve, but Color still runs great. So glad I can grade Epic footage in it now - solves a big issue on a student short I'm working on now!

Seriously, thanks for bringing Color up to date, even if Apple EOLed it.

    Great update, thanks team!

If the FCS3 installer was updated... does that mean an FCPX installer is in the plan? :)

i will say this absolutely 100% unequivocally. don't know if this puts it in alexa territory yet for skin tones but 100% so far every single thing i'm seeing red color 3 is stronger than the other 2 by far on skin tones....i'm seeing a huge noticeable improvement on skin tones...skin tones are looking much more natural. really liking what i'm seeing
