    For the past few days, on the old build and the newest build (11 beta), exporting video does nothing. It doesn't cause any errors to be logged in the status, and the export window just says finished. No file is created. I have tried telling it to export the clip in the viewer, the project, and none of those have worked. Trying to export quicktime/tiff/openexr does nothing. Exporting BWF or Avid AAF & MXF works fine.

    This used to work fine, and I don't know what has changed.

    Ugh, never mind. I deleted my app data and that fixed it, in case that helps anyone else (C:\Users\<username>\appdata\Local\red)

    Funnily enough I had the same recently... even tried creating new export profiles and nothing worked, finished instantly status ok but no file created. This was on OSX. I'll try to repro ASAP.

    Rob, I appreciate the fast reply. I realized right after I deleted it that I should have backed it up, knowing you guys like to find out what the root cause is. Hopefully there will not be a next time, but if there is, i'll send it your way.

    Total newbie here, but I've been having the exact same problem. Will try Kamal's app data delete. Running Mac OS 10.6.8.

    Rob: i'm happy to export a log file for you if you want to walk me through the steps.

    Rob,

    I just had the same problem, I will send a copy the entire redcinex directory.

    OS X 10.6.8
    /Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/red/RedCineX

    Deleting this directory fixed the problem.
