    I agree with the tone, but I would have tried for a western element with oriental undertones. Some of the most enjoyable music I've heard is from a Chinese orchestra playing music on western instruments but in a way that makes it uniquely Chinese. Can't give you an example because I seldom try to remember the titles of things.

    But I'm just offering a personal preference. What you've done probably resonates with a larger population as I am seldom seen swimming in the mainstream. '-)

    Elsie, great points. I completely understand what you are saying. Since I'm a local, I somehow felt going a bit "oriental" felt cliché'd, but it probably limited the cultural interest of this piece. Noted, fellow reduser! Will take the criticism and see if i can come up with something else bearing this in mind!
