Fantastic. I'll be joining very soon. Thanks Jay!
As most of you know, I do take requests for tutorials.. I tell people, "ask for any Video you want.. If I can make it, and if it teaches somebody something.. I'll do it".
I forgot about our beloved "Nuclear" fan boys.. You know 'em.. The ones that LOOOOOVVVVEE RED. So I got a request... Yeah... We're almost finished working on it.
Personally.. if it was me... I would think there are some some things better left alone.. Or kept private.. But hey, who am I to judge? So we're making this new tutorial:
"How to Screw Your Red"
Now.... I'm not going to voice my own opinion here.. I will simply say to Noah, who was the camera man..."Sorry to had to see that".
The video will not be out for a few days.. But I have attached a still. Now for God's sake, before you open this, PLEASE send your kids out of the room... Ok here we go:

Looks great. What format will the videos be in? mp4/h264?
All the videos are in H.264 format and can be downloaded (This does not count our "visiting instructor" series). We're using a new watermarking program that allows this.

Just going on the site now. It's a bit confusing - what order do I view them in? Is there an intro video to tell you how to best use the training? It seems to straight away, even under Camera Basics, go into some pretty un-general topics.
Any suggestions?
Yes Ben, we have an intro video that needs posting. Also some other things. Let me answer this more carefully in a couple hours
Jay
ok let me answer this. Bottom line is that we are in the service of two masters, and that makes the beginning of this a little tough. I have my advanced users that hate the videos on the basics, and the beginners who get frustrated by seeing advanced videos with no grounding in the basics.
I am a "basics" guy.. In that I do not like to assume ANYONE knows ANYTHING. That said Stu, one of our members jumped on me for taking TOO much time on repetitive tasks and told me to pick it up.. Message recieved, we'll deal with that in future vidoes. I am still adapting to ONLINE vs DVD I suppose.
So Ben, bottom line is that we need to get the basics out of the way.. And soon.. Go over every button, screw, slot and function of Body of the brain.. Then handle the menu systems. Then move on from there.
As for the order of the videos.. We only got functionality to control the order of them a couple days ago.. So we will be dealing with that also.
THIS is why you guys are on an on-going site with memberships running at 3 months at a time.. This gives us time to fix what you don't like, and capitalize on what you DO like..
We will keep getting better, because all of you will make us that way.
Jay
