I'm using a Sound Devices 744T, sending a guide track to camera via a Sennheisser EW100 G3 radio pack. Putting the output of the radio receiver into the mic input (tried both) channel of the Epic, there is a loud sign-wave-type noise on the audio track when listening back off the Epic's headphone output. To align using sine tone sent from the 744 means I have to turn the Epic menu audio input level so high that the noise floor corrupts the audio signal (voices) so that it is unusable. The tone- signal from the 744 remains clear and undistorted through the chain until the cable into the Epic mic-In.
Any help greatly appreciated.
