hey guys,

so we just received our red epic and we shot some test shots at 300fps. after playback on the monitor and later in post it was apparent that there was noticeable noise throughout the entire image. Camera was black shade calibrated.

my settings were the following:

resolution: 2k WS
ISO: 400
fps: 300
color temp: 5600
compression: 7:1

Is the footage at 2k a lot noisier than 5k? or is something wrong/am I doing something wrong?

EDIT:

it was a daylight exterior with plenty of light
