It does, but think the Duclos knob would be a better fit for me. Thanks for the explanation!

Actually, not even close. It is still much less expensive. But if you want to buy the CFF-1 or the O-Focus we'd be happy to oblige.

If it has the same accessory attachment port as the CFF-1, then this ebay unit should work just fine. I've been using one of these with my CFF-1 for months and have had no issues. The one small drawback when compared to the much more expensive Arri unit, is the knob on this whip does not detach from the shaft. I even picked up a speed crank from the same guy in NY and again works great for much less than the Arri version.

Thx, Ryan, I bought both. I was quoted over USD250 for the Arri unit, so these are a real bargain.

Would like a kit option that let's me select the bridge I want, rather than the 15mm LWS bridge only.

Would be curious what the price point would be if I wanted both knobs in the kit for flexibility.

For example, I would want the studio bridge and both knobs...

I would assume I could manage to go ala carte and get exactly what I want, but I lose the bundle pricing and have to chase down more SKUs.

Just putting it out there as feedback Eric, thanks for engaging with the RedUser community.

Just picked one up. I really like it. The only thing that isn't perfect is that there's a bit of a "sticky" spot. Does that just get worked out over time as the oil and grease gets more evenly distributed or is it just normal to have a little bit stickier bit?

Eric, what wheel should I get for using the OFocus with Zeiss ZFs in your opinion, considering the range of these lenses' focus throw?

The O'Connor CFF-1 kit is the shit, Period end of FF discussion, you need wireless or such to beat it.

    Hi Blair,

Your question is one that seems to still be causing confusion for a lot of people. The Studio Bridge from the CFF-1 C1241-1300 would convert the O-Focus to 19mm rods HOWEVER then it would only work with big zoom lenses like the 24-290. Why? Because it was designed as a direct drive interface follow focus around the common rod standards. By using a rod adapter such as the AB-1519, it keeps the optical axis measurement for LWS constant while still adapting to studio rods. This keeps the direct drive mechanism where we engineered it to get the most flexibility out of the design.

I personally have a special place in my heat for the RED community…I’ve been around since this “scam” first began and loving every minute of it!
