Abel Cine Tech sells these lenses. I'd have to check, but I believe the Master Primes are about two RED Ones each, the 15-45 is about four RED Ones each and the delivery time is .000001 RED Ones each.

    Hi Mitch

I had no idea Abel Cine was now working off the trade and barder system. In this case I have 2 pigs, 1 cow and 2 wives I'll send to you for a set of master primes. The wives have a few miles on them but 1 of the pigs is a big show winner.

The master primes are about $30K each.

thanks evin. in your opinion, are they worth it?

if you were to buy a set of lenses right now, knowing what's on the market, and taking VALUE into consideration, what would your choice be?

IMHO buying expensive high end lenses is a bit of a gamble right now. Right now there is high demand for all PL lenses and low supply so price is high. That combination is very attractive for businesses so logic dictates that we should see a lot of new products on the market in the next little while. I think renting and waiting to see what shapes up at NAB may be a good idea.

i would still like evin's opinion on this issue though, if he would be so kind....

i just don't think new lens technology will come out at nab that makes the master primes any less attractive. maybe a price cut though, but this is glass, not digital technology.....
