    Hello,

sorry if this thread is covered but Ive tried searching and can't find an answer....

If you want to use the EVF and LCD at the same time is there another option other than waiting for the red module that there seems no issue date for? I predominately shoot drama and really struggle without the EVF and purely on a practical matter we end up keeping the LCD attached and its quite frustrating. (like the action products one)

For the same reason is there another adaptor the (action Products) one where you get extra outputs is anyone using this and could you give me some pointers on your view on this? as its alot of money and I can't work out from the picture if you do get extra BNC outputs.... its quite tricky when your on steadicam and you need two outputs and what worries me is if that output goes down what do you do then if you have no back up?

    many thanks in advance

    Danny

    Hey Danny,

Hope you're well mate! No such luck I'm afraid dude- only 1 at a time and only 1 BNC currently. Sucks huh? Pro I/O not due for a while still and no word if that will allow EVF and LCD at the same time as far as I know. I've just been using the LCD, not much fun for handheld but then apart from the Alexa and good old digibeta what is?

    See you around,

Side handle or Redmote to control menu
    BOMB EVF
External monitor like TV Logic or SmallHD with an HD-SDI passthrough

    thanks guys....

frustrating.... rick we ordered the side handle no where in sight.... I have the back plate on the epic so the v lock sits flush as its better configured this way for steadicam so the red mote cant sit there and so you have to keep charging it and 70% of the time the red mote doesnt work ummmm remotely...

    Hi Rick
To Clarify - The EVF runs off of the EVF/LCD out and the on-board runs off of the HD-SDI out, then you send a signal (passthrough) from the LCD (TV Logic) to director's monitor?
    Thanks in advance...

You can use an hd sdi splitter or a T splitter to feed the on board sdi monitor and the director monitor.

I am very confident they will start shipping the Carbonite scope to the general public once everyone at infotech has finished ordering.

I would like to order one, but there is no way I am going to subscribe to your site for 3 months. No doubt there will be other cheaper options soon.
