    You could use the tecno dolly but it is no way near as precise as the milo. If you look at the two in terms of spec they look pretty much the same. But the Mark Roberts rigs are Built to be rigid in a way no other rigs are. When doing macro work even high frequency jitter is showing quite heavily. The Techno dolly is built to make big moves and not have things so close to the lens. Then the small shakes does not show. The milo on the other hand can make repeated moves super slow (like moving a few mm a minute if wanted) then you eliminate all the gitter.
    So it's both the torision box construction of the milo in combination with the oscar awarded flair controller that makes the huge difference.

    This was a five day shoot. when looking at the BTS I realized why I was so sleepy on the flight back home. LOL...
