    For now the only use is to sync record start/stop and settings between two cameras - like in a 3D rig.

    Thanks Trent, I have been looking at it and trying to figure out what it was for...I imagined I could use it for wireless???

    what future uses may it be for?

    Kemalettin, it's used to have one camera talk to another... or one camera talk to multiple cameras via an ethernet switch. There isn't currently any application on a computer to interface with the camera.

    like you said for example i would like control 4 epics im going to buy 4x lemo to cat5 ethernet cable and plug all the cat5 sides to switch.Assign one of the epics as a master cam via gig-e menu (network settings etc.)
    am i missing something here?
