That was awesome, I thought. I think it's ok if a reel goes on longer than most as long as there is a constant climax in music, scene takes and energy. And as long as you don't go over the climax zone and then just keep going, lol. It's kind of like a song, you know where the song is going by the energy that is ebbing and flowing.

Ofcourse this has all changed now.
I did shoot a few shorts with the 5d and I feel I did really well with everything considered ie budgets, locations and whatnot. The thing is i lost a couple of hard drives and that's everything I have right now on my old computer.
Thanks for taking the time to watch.
I think you're right with it dragging on a bit though
Not having narrative stuff is not a bad thing. Just depends on the jobs you are applying for.
And reels are constantly evolving so over time it's gonna change, but that kind of goes without saying.
Keep up the good work and keep shooting! :)

Thanks man, I still think the climax was too dull. I'll work on rearranging the shots and maybe adding a few more.

Did anyone notice the scene on Epic?

Hahaha... Nobody wants to be wrong about which scene is Epic footage, so I'll go first. I'd say its either at :45, :50, or 1:41. My gut says its the girl at :50.

Looks pretty good. ;) I would say the RED footage is either that stuff with the car or from some of those shots at the end. The one of the man walking down the road looked good. Am I close?
