I am on the lookout for a minute of shot vari-speed footage on the RED EPIC. It should have been shot in slow-mo and then during post made to work in real time. If anyone has any footage that shows this, it would be great to see.
    Thanks again!

I filmed my little sisters water polo game a few weeks ago for fun.
5kWS at 120fps, theres a few shots with a speed ramp done in premiere
    Hope it helps

Thanks for this Chad - really helpful. I don't suppose you have any footage where you have ramped in camera - say from 25fps to 300fps and back again. Footage looks great!

EPIC can't speed ramp in camera just yet.

Thanks Justin - having chatted to my Director further - he is keen to shoot slow-mo (300fps) and then slow to real time in post. It does seem that this is possible. KF

If you intend to shoot 300fps, you'll be in Epic's 2K resolutions (sensor crop - not full 5K) - the max you can do in varispeed at 5Kws is 120 or at 5K/5Kana is 96. You'll also need to light more for doing high speed (if you're shoot is inside).
