I'm finding CS 6 to be fairly buggy. Premier has weird audio issues. I'm getting no sound out in many sequences despite levels being displayed. I can take an HD Sequence that is having this issue, copy and paste the timeline into a 5k sequence and suddenly the audio works. Have tried numerous outputs, system and Decklink.

Photoshop is even worse. It seems to have poor integration with my Wacom tablet and crashes on occasion. I did a fresh install of Lion on a separate SSD drive before installing CS 6. Fortunately I still have my previous system drive connected and can just switch back to CS 5.5 with a restart. Photoshop CS 5.5 has never ever crashed on my system and my still images are often about 2GB in size.

What up, Adobe? There's a lot I like in CS 6, fix that bad boy!

I am confused by one thing, though: That promotion was over a long time ago. Did you just discover this problem with your order?
You know, I just got busy, never had a chance to try it until now. Wasn't until after NAB and seeing all the R3D support that I thought, hey, now would be a good time to check it out. Yes, I Absolutely have been refused an exchange so far. Ill be back and post the Order#. Thanks!

    Hi Corrado,

As an employee I can't comment on future features or releases. However, I can say that we hear you loud and clear and we work with RED to support newer features and our next update will be much quicker than the those in the past. :)

Expect an update from me in the next couple weeks :)

I'm glad to see Adobe on this forum and trying to address issues. I love Adobe software, but I really have to go on a rant against the Adobe download policy. Just before CS6 was released, I bought an upgrade from CS5 Master Collection to CS5.5 Master Collection boxed set; and an upgrade to CS6 Master Collection (download only) was included at no additional cost. The boxed sets of CS5.5 MC were sold out and I was told there would be no more made available , and I would have to download CS5.5 MC as well as CS6 MC. First I was stuck in an endless loop at the Adobe Licensing Website (LWS). "Action Required: Reset Adobe LWS Password" > "Claim Your Adobe Licensing Product Upgrade" > "Action Required: Reset Adobe LWS Password" > over and over. Unresolved. It still says "Action Required: Reset Adobe LWS Password", althoughI've done so many times. Give up on that, go to downloads. Starting the download would not launch Adobe Download Manager, but would start a direct download instead. Aborting and starting over several times gave same results (Download Manager not launching) so I decided to let it run as a direct download overnight. The next day when it was "complete", there was no error alert, but the resulting .dmg was only 2.63 GB instead of the 7.14 GB that it is supposed to be. Dump that. Start over. It was only after much time researching on Google did I discover that I had to use Firefox instead of Safarai for Adobe Download Manager to launch. There was no mention of this at all on the Adobe download page; only a reference to issues with Internet Explorer doing a direct download. Adobe should make this known upfront in several places in screaming giant red boldface. OK, so I start the download through Firefox, Adobe Download Manager launches. Great, now only another one and a half days to go! Next day: Adobe Download Manager stalls at 98% finished. It remains stalled at 98% with no activity for another 5 hours. Dump that.

Yes, I really love Adobe software, but what really gets me is that Adobe expects anybody to download 7.14 GB of pricey software suites, which can take from many many hours to many many days, no matter what the connection speed, perhaps only to fail and have to start the download over,,,and over..
It was bad enough when they stopped shipping printed manuals with the software. I'm the kind of guy that likes to relax on a couch at home (or a dentist waiting room, etc.) with a manual on my lap and a cup of coffee..away from computers. Now no discs??? Come on now, really! Just how much could it eat into their profit margin to mail a few discs of media which cost a few cents each??? Also a 7.14 GB .dmg file is too big to backup to a DVD disc. Does Adobe expect us to archive it on a hard drive (which can fail) or to TRY to download again if we need to re-install?

In short, it took me FIVE DAYS (yes, 5) and a whole lot of aggravation to download Adobe CS6 Master Collection over DSL. It seems to have finally finished successfully today. I have yet to see if there will be any issues with the install. Adobe, can't I have some discs...please? I'll even pay for the media and shipping :-)

    This plus infinity.

Once I'm confident all metadata from r3d files will be integrated to adobe premiere/ae, you have my credit card.

I'm having major issues as well. Won't load new clips into the source monitor. Stays with clip currently in, then forced to quit. Having same audio issues as Christopher as well. Making it very hard to edit.

Anybody try new RED importer for CS6 from june 1 (preview3 version). I take a quick look and it works great with colors in After FX (REDcolor and REDgamma3) but didn't have time to play in Premiere. Is it faster or slower than last version?

Looks fabulous in Premiere. It instantly brings out vibrant and colourful reds. Performance seems the same.
