He he, I already knew this since I give the Workshop in Brazil, and for this I told every one there that the R3D files from RED cameras could not be open also in ADOBE bypassing RXC-Pro, but I have now grown to love RCX-Pro, that I will till continue to use it... A lot... ;)
Edit: what an idiot, just realized that I din't write it properly, it meant to say that I knew since then that THE COULD BE OPEN IN ADOBE... ;)
Its okay I got the BTS Videos of the Workshop to prove it... ;)
I wonder if CS6 Bridge will support R3D thumbnail or preview viewing? Would be nice...
Yes, but as I mentioned in another thread, it's 8 bits.
8 bits is for the birds...
I played with some R3Ds in PS6. It's promising stuff, but I'd like to know what I'm looking at quality-wise. Playing back 5K on my laptop at half speed while viewing at 100% with layered effects applied is fun for a minute, but it's not reality.
I could not find any RAW settings for the r3d's - any ideas?
@ Tom, I guess the answer to your FB enthusiasm is mainly the encryption of the R3Ds, untill tat came, the codecs were more comparable...
