Thanks for all the replies, you guys. Believe it or not, I didn't get to touch the camera today because of commitments on a million different things, and tomorrow won't be much better. I'm hoping to finally mount lens and power up on Thursday. Once my insurance is in place, I'll even venture outside my house with it.:-)

    Congrats Elizabeth!
However giving your camera a name is really quite nerdy! But enjoy it and treat it well and it will give you back much pleasure

As charming as you are, Ketch. I'd imagine you might be forgiven.

Indeed he is! When you're 47, you don't mind occasionally being called "girl", LOL.

As far as a name for your camera, I chose a name based on my serial number. In 1474, Isabella declared herself queen of Castile. Hence, my camera, SN# 1474, is Isabella. What's your serial number? :-)
