Wondering if anyone has a simple, reliable start/stop for the camera. Putting it on a crane or jib soon.

PM your requests, time frame etc... I'll advise if I can meet your schedule.

In the UK EF Moy at Elstree Studios can make Red cables and start/stop switches.

They made us 3 x 20ft remote cables with start/stop switches and tally LED, great build quality.

    Email me for contact details.

I'm currently working on a list and pricing. The cables I'll make will be for accessories, power, S/S, Audio etc... I do NOT plan on making any Drive, or LCD cables. Anything that carries acquired picture data I'll leave that to RED.

Basically, the cables I've made so far have been Preston FI+Z, AJA Power, MIC XLR Adapters, 12V Battery Power, Time code, Fujinon adapter. Working on several others.

    PM requests, and I'll advise.

    Thanks for your interest.

Whoa, you already have a remote start/stop cable? How are you doing this? I am not aware of any port on the Red that can be used to trigger start/stop recording.

Wes is awesome when I was shooting in San Diego on television series he was the guy who took care of all of our panavision packages. I was sorry to see him go to New Zealand.

Both the 4 pin DC lemo's on the back and the lens connector on the side has pins for start/stop.
