I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem......We have run some 3D camera control tests with our two Epic X cameras set up with a new Ambient ACL 204 lockit. When we change the IP address on the slave cameras as instructed by the Red Epic manual, the Master camera will not gain control of the slave camera. However when we set the IP address on both cameras at the default a setting of 10 10 10 10 the Master camera gets control of the Slave camera.
Have we missed something or is there a misprint in the Epic manual? It clearly states on page 211 #3 in the Red Epic manual version 3.0 "Give the Slave camera a unique IP address different from the Master."
