Hello there Ned.
here is a quick description of how you get from shoulder to sticks and back with the Titan ( considering you are using arri plate style on your tripod)
1) you snap one cam lever and you release instantly the total front handle system
2) you twist the QUICK RELEASE LEVER and you Quick release the total of camera+QRplate+battery config+whatever else you have mounted on cam like monitor etc
3) you slide the total on your arri plate on tripod, and lock with a cam lever
reversing all the steps above and you are back on shoulder.
that cant be more than seconds away.
By O bars do you mean O grips?
if that is the case please consider this, it might be at a fraction of a cost of a Titan sure, but on one side you have a full complete shoulder mount system with ball grips, extension bones, solutions for battery, shoulder pad, QR plate, Qr base, compatible with Arri plates, and upper solutions like Top plate, evf and monitor arms, rails , and the list goes on. On the other side you have ...the O grips. So is this a fair comparison for price?
There are surely many ways people prefer to shoot, but thats a personal taste.
Some even shoot with nothing just holding the lens and the front rods, I for once use to do this daily for many years.
and that was the fastest to tripod and back...only ....that there was no shoulder mount at all.
