  1. #1 Red Standard 1-Year Warranty Question
Quick question - I've been searching high and low but can't find any fine print on this subject anywhere (been looking all over the forums, red.com, manuals). Does Red's standard 1-year warranty kick in when you order the product or when you receive it?

Basically, your 1 year warranty kicks in when RED delivers the goods to you (or you pick them up).

The Standard Warranty effective date is the date of “ex works” from Irvine or when Buyer picks up product at designated Red shipping facility.

"Ex Works" means once your item leaves the RED facility in Irvine, CA it is yours...not when it is delivered to you. If anything happens to it in transit from RED to you, it is your responsibility, not RED's.
