I love the idea of using viper and F23 to match a HVX200...

The filmmakers involved used some very high-tech gear, including the Thomson Grass Valley Viper and the Sony F23, to intentionally achieve the picture's low-tech, "prosumer video" look

Dude, what if it did turn out to be like that? "Pocket Professional"...

I was wondering how they were filming the movie, just got back from seeing it. I knew it had to be digital of some sort, I would have thought SI-2K Mini or something. The HSC1U looked great!

Some hand-held footage looked like handicam, some looked like a higher end digital camera. I'm shocked that some of it was shot on AVCHD! I would never have guessed.

While I was watching the film I couldn't help but think that there was no way they could have shot the shakier scenes with the CMOS cameras that are on the market. I have a FX7 and a HV20 and those little suckers would have been skewing all over the place with all the whip pans and running scenes. I wonder if Scarlet would be any different.
