RCX randomly naming 3D files with R or L eye in file name

Anyone know how to make RCX only use the L eye when naming Avid files?

Foind the preference and set USE LEFT CLIP NAME FOR 3D CLIPS but it didn't help.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Okay, have an answer in case anyone else can benefit from the info. To ensure your clip file names consistently use the LEFT eye, when in the viewer, toggle between the eyes making sure you end on the LEFT, and make sure it updates the RMD. AFter doing this my files names were 100% predictable.

Thanks for the info. It should always be using left clip name when naming files. I'll look into this.
