    Optimo 17-80 while decently fast. sharp and contrasty, has pretty severe barrel and then pincushion distortion over it's range. Not in the league of undeniable awesomeness of the 24-290, 15-40, 16-42, 30-80, 45-120 etc. If the new 19.5-94 is based on that I would expect similar performance, also the size while not totally out of the question to handhold is def on the large end of things.

    I think there is a nice opening for this Fuji, but like Evin said - the proof is in the pudding. I'm working in UK during NAB so I hope some reliable glassaholics put it through it's paces - Also the Canon 30-105... I'm basing my pre-orders on your intel so please be thorough and generous !
