I have successfully been using my Redmote to control and start-stop the camera from a distance. Last week I shot a stop motion commercial where the camera sat on a jib and needed to be in a very precise position.
at times I was stuck having the Redmote being charged through a USB cable, impairing mobility.
In this case, would it be possible to have a second Redmote controlling the camera while the first one sits charging?
Since the Redmote stays on while charging, will they interfere with each other?

It's possible, but for now only one REDmote may be paired with the camera at any given time. You'll need to re-pair with the camera when you want to switch REDmotes.

When you say re-pair, does it mean going in the settings and changing stuff there, or just just scanning, and finding it in an automatic way?

    Thx for the response.

Pairing is done on the camera side - so you would need to go through the Settings menu on the camera to change the pairing from one REDmote to another. The next major release will allow you to pair more than one REDmote with a camera. This will allow you to switch between REDmotes easily (since they would both already be paired with the camera).

Note that PAIRING is the one-time act that allows you (that is, grants you permission) to CONNECT the REDmote to the camera.
