Maybe I'm the only one that does this...

...but I often find myself seeing a banner ad at the top of reduser that I want to click, just as I've pressed the "New Posts" button. I see just enough of the ad to kind of remember what it looks like, but not enough to remember the name of the company. Hitting the back button does no good because a different ad loads every time. Sometimes I'll hit refresh a bunch of times until the ad I wanted to click on comes up.

So, would it be possible to have a sticky thread of all the banner ads in a post? The thread should be locked so the advertisers aren't bumping the thread all the time, but it would be nice to see all the ads in one place. I'm sure the sponsors wouldn't mind this either.

Great idea - I had the exact same experiences as you a couple of times. If you make such a thread, I'll make it a sticky. Deal?

I have no idea how to put the banner ads into a post.

Right click the banner and you'll get an option like "copy image url". Use that url to post a picture. Once you have done that, right click on the banner again, this time chosing "Copy Link address" and make that the link of the picture. Voilá.

Repeat for the ads that you'll find.

Other users are free to add - as are of course sponsors. Each banner only to be shown once in the new thread.

    Good luck :)

Has happened to me as well. I end up refreshing 10-20x times until it magically appears again. :-)

And I as well. How about a section under the community tab that lists all the advertisers with a image of their add and a link to their website.

Yes please. I have done that numerous times before too! Reduser... one of the only places online I've ever been annoyed I forgot to click a banner ad. ;)

Ok I tried to start this but most of the banners are flash so I can't embed the banner.
