PERFECT SHOULDER PAD

Does not exist; at least I could never find one I would be happy with.
So I decided to make one.
I am not a camera accessories maker, so this was a first time experience.
It would not happen if I wasn't given a help of extremly talented friend of mine John Dykyj.

I modeled it to have a snug fit , actually it was shaped from clay on the human body.
Shell is Made of carbon fiber for durability, lightens and sexiness.
The actual pad was made of the best quality leather by local leather craftsman.
The Shell can host different pads which are attached by industrial velcro straps.

Let me present you my very first prototype of the Snug-Pad.

Whats interesting about it is that it's not symmetrical design.
The back of the shell is twisted to fit your arm.
I have tested it on different size man with great results.
Still some work to do, I am obsessed with it now:)

The first thing I see (at least for me) is that with my current pad the camera is easy to set on the ground and keep itself level and the pad stays in relatively good shape. I would love to see a little rubber piece that could wrap around the back of this and provide a wider, solid base and be a little more durable as well. IDK if anyone else cares about that but it's definitely important to me personally.

I have to agree, it would be nice to make ground support and I though about it.
however, It changes the shape and the design drastically.
Rubber is a good idea, but it would not secure or balance camera unattended.
It would only protect the edges from chipping.
