Global media V-Mount batteries charging question

Does anybody who has a Global Media V-mount battery, know if you can charge it on a IDX V- mount battery charger
or similare charger .
My GM 160wt came with a charger, but don't want to have to bring 2 chargers to jobs. and a bit apprehensive to stick it on a charger
without hearing form you guys..

Every battery tells you to only used the approved charger... but I suspect that's a CYA move. I'm charging Axrtec batteries just fine on my GMP charger.

So not thinking I stuck it on my IDX charger,, and works fine. !
