    I have a modest Resolve system running bare minimal config.
    Mac Pro 2x 2.8ghz
    16GB RAM
    GT120, GTX285, Red Rocket, BM I/O

    I've been getting 24fps real time playback without noise reduction. This is not an ideal system, in fact BM have said barely meets specs, but does show you can configure it without spending $20K. The RR is certainly a big chunk of the investment, but if you already have one...
