My name is Michael, I started a photography studio 6 years ago. I am a Brooks Institute graduate. I got involved in film/video 3 years ago doing lighting as I had all the same grip equipment and I soon purchased and refurbished a few Mole Richardson Tungsten Fresnels. I have refinished/refurbished 10 lights in all, 8 of which I still own. In the last 3 years I have done nearly 20 projects including short films, 2 features (local), national TV commercials, and a live music project covering 5 shows with 5 HD cameras.
I am best as a gaffer or doing electric work in general. I am humble and easy to work with. I have been around many professional sets. I realize a film set is a collaboration of minds and talents. I expect to be credited for my work, but am not looking for just a title, they are just for organization anyways. I can do simple camera work if need be and I can capture field audio properly. I dont mind multi tasking on set.
I just purchased my first RED camera, a Scarlet (EF) last week, along with 2-64GB cards, a touch monitor, AC Adapter. I also have a Genus Follow focus, bottom rails and a Small HD 6 HDMI monitor. As a Canon user since day one I have a large assortment of lenses from 10mm to 600mm for the RED. I also have a Zoom H4n, Rode NTG-3 Shotgun mic, and 2 Sennheiser 100G Lavs..
Grip equipment including: 10 C Stands, 7 Med/Hi Rollers, 8x8 and 12x12 overhead kit with silk, sold and ultrabounce, 8 floppies, and about 20 other flags/nets/diffusion of smaller assorted sizes.
Electric: 500ft of stingers, 500ft of "big cable" including 60A Bates Extension, Cam Lok Extension, 5 wire, Cam Lok 3 fer's and mis adapters and safety items.
Tungsten Lighting: Mole Fresnels 1ks, 2ks, 5k. Mole open face- 2k.
Lowel 100/250w Pro lights.
HMIs- 1200W Par Magnetic, 2500W Fresnel Electronic, 12k Fresnel Magnetic
All lights complete, 1200/2500W HMIs with 75ft of head cable, 12k with 2-50ft head cables.
All lights as well as camera and audio, and grip, is personally owned by me, used only by me or under my strict supervision. It is all immaculately maintained and most in amazingly nice cosmetic condition.
