    Hi

I have one red volt which refuses to sit in the side handle. All my others work perfectly. I can see no difference between the problem volt and the others. I wondered if anyone else had encountered this problem? Any help much appreciated.

Lots of people have this problem Started with one battery, and have moved to all of them.

I encounter the same problem with all my red volt when switching from one to another during shoots. There's a metal piece below the red clip inside the side handle. Try to bend it downwards slowly and insert the red volt. It works for me so far :)

Just starting getting this problem too. The red clip is having a tough time holding in the batteries.

This is a major pain with half of my batteries. Needs to be addressed.

The problem may lie in the side handle. All my batteries pop out; I now have two side handles. One is going back for a refurb.

Red returned my side handle to me yesterday and the redvolt issue has been totally eliminated, thankfully. It looks like they might have installed a whole new mechanism for holding and ejecting the redvolts. No more pushing and fiddling with it.

They also fixed the hot-swap issue, and that works flawlessly now, as well. All in all, I think it took 3 days to get it fixed and returned. Good stuff.
