EDIT: Title should read Smoke news. Thanks Sam.

a look at the Autodesk website shows two Flame products for 2013; Flame and Flame Premium. Is this new? http://usa.autodesk.com/flame/ Apparently Flame Premium is Lustre and Smoke rolled into one.
Autodesk® Flame® Premium software helps you offer your customers end-to-end post-production finishing services. Combining the full Flame 3D visual effects toolset with the real-time color grading capabilities of Autodesk® Lustre® software and the timeline-based finishing workflow of Autodesk® Smoke® Advanced software on a single workstation, Flame Premium provides tight integration between visual effects and look development, and the trusted Flame brand to help you meet today’s tough creative challenges.
It looks like evidence that Autodesk's news will be a big price cut on Flame!

Flame Premium (a combination of Flame, Smoke, and Lustre) has been available for at least 18 months now. In fact, it's been the only way you can get a new license of Lustre since it was introduced (the standalone Lustre license was discontinued).

2013 just released last week, but as Mike stated Flame Premium has been around for 2 years now.

The grading tool landscape for tinkerers like me has become extremely interesting in the last year. If we can add Flame to the list of options, which would you guys recommend for Indy Producers, or shooter/editors like myself? Is the answer "Whatever your post house of choice is using." Or do they play nicely together?

5 minutes... know anyone who is tweeting from the Autodesk event?

I would be very grateful for any info from Autodesk's announcement. Please keep us posted. Was guessing it was smoke related....

While the countdown zeroed this morning at 10AM, I think the "big event" was scheduled for 3 PM. I wish I was in LV for it but I won't be flying in until about 4:30. :-(

Well, the countdown elapsed and the page reverts to the Autodesk homepage where there is apparently nothing new.

    Who's got the scoop?

I wonder how long it will be before they update the website... What a buzzkill!
